1. Information We Collect
- Account information: email address, display name, profile picture (optional), timezone.
- Trading data: trade records you import or manually enter including tickers, prices, quantities, P&L, timestamps, and notes.
- Journal data: daily reflection scores, rule adherence records, voice notes, chart review notes.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, session duration, device type and browser.
2. How We Use Your Information
3. AI Processing
4. Data Sharing
4a. AI Assistant (MCP) Integrations
EdgeLog offers an optional Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration that lets you connect your account to external AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP-compatible client. This integration is off by default and only becomes active after you explicitly enable "AI Assistant Access" in Settings → Connect to AI and approve the connection on the EdgeLog consent screen.
When enabled, a connected AI assistant may read only the following data from your account, on demand, using your own authenticated session:
- Your recent trades (ticker, side, entry/exit price, P&L, setup, timestamps)
- Aggregate performance stats (win rate, total P&L, average winner/loser)
- Your saved trading rules
The MCP integration never exposes your password, email, payment information, private journal entries, voice notes, chart review notes, other users' data, or any admin data. Data is sent to the AI assistant you connect at the moment you ask it a question; EdgeLog does not push data to third parties in the background. Any data your chosen assistant receives is then handled under that assistant's own privacy policy — please review it before connecting.
You can disconnect at any time by turning "AI Assistant Access" off in Settings → Connect to AI (which immediately blocks all future MCP requests), or by removing EdgeLog from your AI assistant's connectors list.
5. Community Features
If you post trade recaps to the EdgeLog community, that content is visible to other EdgeLog users. You can control community visibility in Settings → Privacy.
Aggregated performance data including win rate, P&L, and Edge Score may be displayed on the EdgeLog leaderboard. Users who disable community visibility appear anonymously. Users can opt out of leaderboard display entirely at any time in Settings → Privacy. Individual trade details, tickers, and position sizes are never displayed on the leaderboard without explicit user consent.
